Our very own stylist Jason is doing something big for the community.
Jason recently started a Pay It Forward Fund with one pretty simple idea behind it: everyone deserves to feel good about themselves, regardless of what they can afford right now.
Each month, Jason personally provides at least two completely free haircuts to people in need. On top of that, donations from the community go directly toward providing even more free haircuts. When his schedule allows, he also offers pay-what-you-can appointments.
And when we say free haircut, we mean the same experience any other client receives in Jason’s chair. Shampoo, scalp massage, haircut, styling and whatever extra care the hair might need. This isn't about giving someone the bare minimum. It's about giving someone an hour to feel cared for.
NEED A HAIRCUT?
There’s no application, income verification or explanation required.
Jason is operating the program on the honor system. “If you say you need a free haircut, then you need a free haircut.”
Appointments are first come, first served, and availability depends on Jason’s schedule and the current balance of the fund.
To request a free or pay-what-you-can haircut, please contact Jason directly.
WANT TO HELP SOMEONE ELSE?
You can contribute any amount to the Pay It Forward Fund. You don't have to cover an entire haircut. $5, $10 or $20 combined with donations from other people can quickly turn into another free appointment for someone who needs it.

The response from the community so far has been incredible, and we're really proud to have Jason doing this work from his chair at In Salon.
